Ryan McGinlay and Tony Haggerty joined Hamish Carton on Thursday's edition of The Celtic Way's morning briefing for January 11.
The trio - starved of any real rumours thus far in the January transfer window before this point - were in a good mood, as reports suggest that Celtic may be closing in on their first signing this month, and an exciting one at that.
Rapid Vienna's Nicolas Kühn was on the agenda this morning, as trusted sources have linked the 24-year-old German winger to the club from his current side in Austria. The highly-rated player has previously been on the books of Ajax, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich, but has made his name in senior football at the historic Austrian side he currently plays for.

As he plays on the right wing, there has been a lot of talk concerning whose place he might take in the Celtic team if and when he joins the club. Could it be Liel Abada, who is facing criticism from his homeland about some of the Celtic fans' stance on the ongoing conflict? A tricky subject to discuss, but a necessary one at the same time, given recent reports.
The current situation of Gustaf Lagerbielke was discussed also, with the Sweden international looking to leave the club in search of more game-time this month. Will he join a Serie A club like Bologna, Genoa or Lecce? It was discussed in today's briefing, sponsored as always by MPH Group.
All of this and more is discussed in the morning briefing, which you can catch up with by clicking on the video player at the bottom of this article. If you enjoy what we do, then why not subscribe for FREE? Your support would be greatly appreciated.
