Joe Hart was an integral part of Celtic's success during his three seasons at the club, first under Ange Postecoglou and then Brendan Rodgers, clinching seven trophies in that time.
The 38-year-old hung up his gloves at the end of the 2023/24 campaign, and has since talked about the Parkhead club at every opportunity since transitioning into punditry.
Earlier this year, Hart appeared on the High Performance Podcast where, again, he waxed lyrical about his time at Celtic under both managers, while casting a broader eye over his illustrious career, including his time at Manchester City.
Last night (Tuesday), the High Performance Podcast released a new edit comprising both Hart and a separate conversation with Joleon Lescot wherein both talk about failing to fit into Pep Guardiola's plans when he signed at The Etihad.
During Hart's segment, he gives an overview of why the Spaniard didn't think Hart was the right man for him between the sticks, before Hart indirectly likens Postecoglou's style to Guardiola's, and how he was able to succeed in Scotland.
Hart said: "[Guardiola and I] got in front of each other and he told me that as much as he admired me as a person, he didn't think I could fit into his system.
"To which I was like, look, I don't agree with you, but that's your opinion, is that something that we can work on together or is that something where I need to find a new home?
"To which he said, look, I'm happy to work, but I can't put everything aside that I'm trying to do. I'm here to win. And I respect that. He was here to win, he wasn't here to give me a good career or look after me.
"He needed a goalkeeper that he felt could function because he's the kind of coach who needs all his people to work, and then he'll tell them what to do and where to go and how it works.
"I've been a part of that. I've been in Scotland playing for a similar sort of manager and when you're one of those pieces, it's such an interesting way to play. But I wasn't a trusted piece [at City] and I was in a very important position."

Hart added: "So if I'm not a trusted piece, he can't put me into a system which, whether it's a 50-50, whether it works or not, he didn't know whether I could or whether I couldn't.
"I didn't know whether I could or couldn't, but he couldn't, he didn't have the time."
Hart has spoken many times in the past about Celtic and Postecoglou (and latterly Rodgers) allowing him to rediscover his love of football, and the Englishman has become somewhat of an unpaid ambassador for the club since.
Despite his career lulls post-Manchester City, in relative terms, Hart goes down as one of Celtic's most successful goalkeepers, missing out on just two domestic trophies across three seasons, and helping his side secure a domestic treble during the 2022/23 campaign.
