Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers spoke ahead of his side's Scottish Premiership outing against Dundee at Celtic Park this evening (Wednesday), addressing the six changes he made to his starting XI.

Cameron Carter-Vickers returns to the starting line-up as does Greg Taylor and Arne Engels; with Anthony Ralston coming in for Alistair Johnston. Ahead of them, Luis Palma and Yang likewise enter the fold.

Speaking to the changes, the Celtic manager told the BBC: "It's still very much the same, we need to be in the same rhythm. There are some forced changes within the squad and we wanted to get Cameron Carter-Vickers more game time.

"Overall, it's still a very strong team, a dynamic team that we hope can give us that energy and freshness in the game.

"I trust the squad. It's difficult sometimes, there are players who aren't always getting game time, and they all have a great value to play. But for some games you just can't make wholesale changes.

"I'm looking forward to seeing the team play, and we play with a structure and model they're all familiar with. We have to be good and fast in the game.

"Clarity is very important to us, and in that aspect the players understand how we work and what's expected of them."
