Bernabei joined the Hoops on a five-year contract in the summer of 2022 for a fee reported to be £3.75 million.
With three years remaining on his deal at Parkhead, the defender could leave the club permanently in the coming transfer window if a deal can be reached.
Internacional are reportedly unwilling to meet Celtic’s asking price of £8 million, with the possibility of extending the player’s loan into 2025 also a possibility.
