Atalanta ace Mario Pasalic reckons Celtic keeper Kasper Schmeichel saved them from Champions League defeat.
The Hoops gained a superb point after a goalless draw in Italy to put them in a good position to qualify for the play-off stages.
But Croatian star Pasalic believes Celtic should be grateful to their veteran Danish keeper He said: "We had several chances but we came up against Kasper Schmeichel and unfortunately, we couldn't break his resistance.
"We have to accept this draw, even if it's a bit frustrating. We defended very well, without taking any big risks.
"The positive aspect is that for the third consecutive game, we did not concede. This is a good starting point.
"If we had scored, however, the game would have changed completely.
"There were plenty of chances for us, but sometimes the ball just does not want to go in. It was one of those nights."
