Celtic Champions League opponents Atalanta suffered a shock defeat on Tuesday night to Cesc Fabregas’ Como side, who secured their first Serie A win in 21 years.
The former Arsenal man watched on as the newly promoted club fired in three goals in 12 minutes to turn around a 1-0 deficit to the Europa League champions at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.
Goals from Gabriel Strefezza and Alieu Fadera, as well as an own goal from Atalanta defender Sead Kolasinac saw Como claim a 3-2 victory – their first in the Italian top flight since May 2003.

Davide Zappacosta gave Atalanta the lead after 18 minutes before the visitors fought back, with Europa League final hattrick hero Ademola Lookman’s late penalty a mere consolation.
The match - initially scheduled for Monday night – had to be postponed by 24 hours due to heavy rain in Bergamo and a waterlogged pitch.
It was Atalanta’s third defeat of the season in all competitions. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 0-0 draw against Arsenal, with Celtic set to travel to the Gewiss Stadium on 23 October.
Before that, the Hoops face a trip to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund next week who suffered an emphatic 5-1 defeat to Stuttgart on Sunday.
Despite stumbling domestically, Dortmund and Atalanta will by no means be easy away days for Brendan Rodgers' side who will be eager to build on their stellar start to this year's European campaign after last week's 5-1 win over Slovan Bratislava at Celtic Park.
