Dutch referee Danny Makkelie will take charge of the Champions League fixture between Celtic and Slovan Bratislava.
Brendan Rodgers' side play their first match in the revamped league phase of the European competition on Wednesday night.
Slovakian side Slovan Bratislava are the visitors with Celtic looking to get off to a winning start in the Champions League after automatic entry to the competition proper.
Now, UEFA have confirmed the officials for the tie with Makkelie the man in the middle. The official, from the Netherlands, has previously taken charge of one match involving Celtic - a 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in Glasgow back in 2017.
Makkelie has refereed three games in the Eredivisie so far this season, dishing out 13 yellow cards in the process.
