Dutch legend Johan Boskamp has slaughtered Scotland defender and former Celtic player Jack Hendry and insisted he can turn quicker than him... at the age of 75.

And he's also blasted Scotland as by far the worst team at the Euros.

Scotland play the Swiss in a huge game tonight in Cologne with Steve Clarke's side desperate to bounce back after their 5-1 defeat to Germany.

But they will facing a Swiss team who are full of confidence after they defeated Hungary in their opening game.

Boskamp - who played for the Dutch side that reached the World Cup Final in 1978 and who later went on to manage Anderlecht, Genk, Standard Liege and Stoke City before becoming a TV analyst in both Belgium and the Netherlands, was far from impressed with Scotland and Hendry, who previously played for Oostende and Brugge in Belgium.

Boskamp said: "With Jack Hendry in the team you are always going to have a hard time at this level.

"Even at my advanced age, I could still turn faster than that guy.

"Only one team has really been outplayed at the Euros...Scotland.

"The Netherlands also had a hard time with Poland, Albania also did more than decent against Italy.

"But how weak were Scotland in that opening match?

"It really wasn't normal.

"It seemed like they allowed Germany to safely win the game before half time.

"Scotland are by far the weakest team I have seen at this European Championship.”
