Stephen Robinson has waxed lyrical about Kwon Hyeok-kyu after the midfielder's debut for St Mirren.
The Celtic player has joined the Paisley side on loan until the end of the season and he received the man of the match award for his performance against Queen of the South in the Scottish Cup.
And Robinson was delighted with Kwon's contribution.
He said: "Kwon hasn’t played for months and he just needs game time. I was surprised he was able to play the whole game but he showed in glimpses that he has a lot of talent.
“He and Caolan Boyd-Munce dominated the game. I thought Kwon might last for an hour but he was running the game without doing a lot of running so we thought it would be beneficial psychologically for him to get the 90 minutes.
"I’m delighted for him and Elvis gave us the energy on the right we’ve bene lacking since Ryan Strain’s injury.
"I was pleased that we scored our goal from a set-play because we work hard on them.
"Winning was good for momentum but a cup run is also important financially for the club.
“We don’t budget for that so it gives us a few extra pounds in the coffers which, hopefully, we can put back into the football side.
