Everything Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers said to Sky Sports after their 3-0 win over Dundee at Dens Park...

What pleased you most about today's win?

I think the attitude and mentality in the game was very good. When you think about coming here on Christmas night, getting ready and coming here away from your family... I thought the mentality from the very first whistle was excellent. We could have been in front by half-time. Anything that Dundee had was down to us being a bit loose at times. I thought the overall performance was good, we created and made opportunities in the game and kept a clean sheet. The attitude and the energy of the team was very good.

38 attempts on goal, is that pleasing in terms of what you said before the game about having that attitude and showing what you can do and being in their stride?

Yeah, and I think the team have had some harsh lessons over the past few weeks, but we spoke about that. It is a young group of players, the likes of Paulo Bernardo getting his first goal at the club and Mikey Johnston coming into the game and affecting it. I thought overall the structure of our game was very good. The pitch was a little bit tricky, but I thought the way that we passed the ball and the speed of our game was excellent. we arrived in a lot of really good areas but just couldn't quite be decisive enough at times. Overall, I'm so happy for the players, because they thoroughly deserved that.

Is it another important factor when you are creating so many chances and not taking them the patience, rather than panic?

We said that at half-time. I felt that in the first half, we arrived in the areas that we wanted to, but we made the extra pass instead of getting the shot off. Trying to make that killer pass and finish off the move too quickly. In the second half, we showed that patience in the game that you need at times, in and around the box where players are camped in and you have to be able to work the ball and make that extra pass, as well as getting the shot off. I thought the players were very good at that.

The one downside was that Cameron Carter-Vickers had to come off. What's the prognosis so far?

He just felt his hamstring, but thankfully it looks as if it hasn't gone. We've said before that if he feels anything then he's better letting us know. He tightened up, we were able to take him off and Stephen Welsh came in and did excellent when he came into the game. He was very calm in the game.

I appreciate it is very early after the game, but what's your thinking ahead of Saturday in terms of Carter-Vickers?

I don't know. The medical team will assess him and we'll see where we're at in a few days.
