Alexandro Bernabei looks set to depart Celtic this January with a number of clubs eyeing a potential move.
The Argentinian full-back has failed to cement down a starting XI spot in Glasgow since he made the switch to Parkhead 18 months ago.
The Sun now report that Bernabei will exit Celtic in January with the club deeming him surplus to requirements.
Argentinian and Italian clubs are said to be interested in Bernabei, who joined Celtic from Lanus for £3.5million.
Over the course of the season, the 24-year-old has played just 71 minutes for Brendan Rodgers.
The report goes on to state that further Parkhead exits could follow Bernabei out the door in January.
Japanese defender Yuki Kobayashi, Nat Phillips, Gustaf Lagerbielke and Yosuke Ideguchi are all likely to leave the club at the turn of the year.
Midfielder David Turnbull could also join them, but it remains to be seen what will happen with the former Motherwell man.
Meanwhile, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers will focus on finding answers from within during a crucial run of games after fans turned on the board during a 2-0 defeat by Hearts.
When asked about the chants against the board, many of which were directed towards chairman Peter Lawwell, Rodgers said: “That result is on myself and the players.
“We’re there, on the pitch, we have to be so much better than that. We have to focus on that. You can blame whoever you want but the reality is that that’s us on the field.
“And it’s nowhere near good enough for a Celtic team. I’ve been here long enough, I know the climate here, the expectations. Standing watching it, it’s not the level of a Celtic team or anywhere near it.”
