Everything new Celtic signing Hyeokkyu Kwon to say in his first press conference after being unveiled at Parkhead.

How excited are you to be at Celtic?

I am so excited to be at this club, where I always watched on television where Ki Sung-yueng and Cha Du-ri play.

What are your memories of watching both those players play?

I remember watching Ki Sung-yueng, who is one of my favourite ever players, score from a long-distance shot and I would like to do that.

Did Oh signing in January heighten the interest in Celtic in Korea?

Celtic is obviously one of the Champions League teams so they are already well known in Korea. That is one of the reasons it was on my dream clubs.

What has your initial impression of Celtic been?

It is all very new to me, in terms of the club and Scotland as a country, but thanks to the club and its staff, who were friendly to me, I feel very welcome. They have made me feel very comfortable and I feel I can show my best at Celtic.

Does it excite you that you can link up with a player like Yang?

I am very excited because I have experience with Yang as a player from the under-23 national team and I know he is a very good player. As a midfielder, I am looking forward to assisting one of his goals.

How much are you looking forward to playing in the Champions League?

The Champions League has always been a dream for me but I am very confident that I can do well and it is very good chance for me to improve as a player so when a chance is given I will do my best.

Are you ready to come in and help the club win more trophies?

I know it was a successful season last year and I know because of that a lot of fans are having high expectations but I personally think it is a new season with a new manager and I want to focus on this season. I think we can have good results.

Can you explain your style of play?

I am the type of player who can press hard and put pressure on the opponent. I am very good at intercepting balls and building up the process and giving the ball to attacking players.

Was working with Brendan Rodgers an attractive prospect?

I do not have experience in the Scottish Premiership but I have experience in the K2 League and I look forward to bringing what I can for the new manager.

Was it always a dream for you to play in Europe?

Yes, it was always my dream to come to a big European club and that is why I had to sort out my military issue in Korea. I am very honoured to be here and I think it is a new chance for me to show who I am.
