Ange Postecoglou has addressed his future moments after Celtic's Scottish Cup win over Inverness.

The Hoops secured a historic eighth treble as they comfortably saw off Caley Thistle at the national stadium.

The game ended 3-1, with Kyogo, Liel Abada, and Jota on the scoresheet.

Speculation has been rife over the past five days regarding Postecoglou's future, with Tottenham identifying the Australian as their No.1 target to become their new manager.

Some reports have suggested that the move is already a done deal, but Spurs wished to be respectful of Celtic's cup final clash today at Hampden before making an official approach.

But in the aftermath of the game, amidst all of the celebrations, Postecoglou remained coy on his future, instead focussing on his side's most recent achievement.

He initially told BBC: "I understand all that but I am going to be a little bit selfish here because not just myself, my family, the people around me have all worked really hard to enjoy this moment.

"As disappointing as that may be for people that's what I'm going to do [enjoy it]. 

"We've worked too hard as players, and managers that if I then start talking about things that aren't really important right now to me and those people around me...mate, I'm just enjoying this and I will enjoy it for as long as I can until people drag me away to talk about other things."

On Viaplay, Martin O'Neill, who appeared as a pundit alongside Marvin Bartley and presenter Emma Dodds, told the Aussie that everyone wanted him to stay at Celtic. 

Dodds then asked what Postecoglou's plans were for the new few days.

He responded: "I'm going on holiday on Tuesday, I cannot wait! I'll take the family away.

"It's felt like a long season because of the World Cup. You need to remember that some of our boys had been at a World Cup mid-season, it's crazy the levels they've reached considering the demands put on them this year.

"You could see from our performances over the last four or five weeks, the boys are close to being on empty. We all need a good break."

Asked if there was more to achieve at Celtic, he said: "There's always more to achieve. The day I wake up and feel like I've done everything I need to do then I may as well just pack it all up. 

"I've been the same since the first day I started doing this. I love what I do, I'm passionate about it. I want to create teams that are special and create special moments. That's what I try to do."

Then asked directly about Tottenham, he shut down the question saying: "Again Emma, you're talking about things that are taking me away from enjoying this moment, I'm not gonna let that happen."
