Former Celtic star Giorgos Giakoumakis has praised Joe Hart on his 36th birthday, calling the Hoops goalkeeper a "legend".

The Greece international left Parkhead side in January to join Atlanta United in the MLS.

However, he did not want to miss out on the chance to wish his ex-team-mate all the best.

Giakoumakis and Hart won a double together last season and it seems like both men are close.

Posting on his Instagram story, the striker wrote: "Happy birthday legend!"

Meanwhile, Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly has praised Celtic, calling them "brilliant".

The Steelemen travel to Parkhead next in the last round of Scottish Premiership fixtures before the split.

Ange Postecoglou's side have won all three of the previous meetings between the two teams so far this season.

And the 27-year-old has explained why Stuart Kettlewell's men must have a particular mindset going into the match.

Speaking to the Daily Record, he said: "Celtic are a brilliant team and they'll be keen to get maximum points before they break off for the semi-final game with Rangers, so we know how difficult it will be.

"We just need to be as best prepared as we can and try to look for a positive result from the game.

"We need to take that mindset of being desperate for points going into the last six games.

"We will go to Parkhead and look forward to what will be a great game to be involved in.

"We've been defending really well and when you go there it's always going to be a really difficult game, so we will need to defend well to give ourselves a chance."
