Ross County have confirmed defender Connor Randall is set for a “significant period of time” on the sidelines after fracturing his leg against Celtic.
Ange Postecoglou's side ran out well-deserved winners on the afternoon as goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Moritz Jenz and Liel Abada ensured the Hoops maintained their unbeaten start to the season.
The 26-year-old sustained the injury in an attempted challenge with Jota in Saturday’s 3-1 victory at Dingwall.
Following the win, Staggies boss Malky McKay admitted that there was an "issue" - but now the club have released a statement on social media confirming the right-back has suffered a fractured bone in his leg.
It read: “We can today confirm that Connor Randall has suffered a fractured bone in his leg during Saturday’s match with Celtic that will keep him out for a significant period of time.
“Connor has now started his road to recovery and we know he will come back stronger than before.”
