Here's everything Celtic midfielder Nicolas Kuhn said to the media ahead of Sunday's Scottish League Cup quarter-final tie against Falkirk at Celtic Park. 

Can we go back to Wednesday night - the atmosphere and the occasion - how did you find it?

Unbelievable. I think it was the craziest thing I have ever experienced. It was just amazing.

You could see the look on some of the player's faces when the Champions League anthem was playing. Kasper Schmeichel had a big grin on his face. Were you exactly the same with the noise and everything? 

I didn't see the others. I was more focused on myself. For me, it has been a long journey but I have finally arrived in the Champions League. To play in such a stadium was unreal.

What can that result do for the players going forward in terms of belief and confidence?

I think we have had some good results before already. It has been a really good start to the season. It was just a really good game for us. We just want to keep going and take it into the next one.

The form has been good this season is it a case of sticking to the same game plan and doing what you have been doing against Falkirk to get another good result?

Yes, 100 per cent.  This is another competition and we have to keep going and the focus is now on Sunday.

You mentioned that journey to get to the Champions League with Celtic. You have had to be patient and wait. Was it exactly like you expected or was Celtic Park on Wednesday night more than you expected?

I think it was more than I expected. After the anthem, it was so loud. It was amazing. 

What has Brendan done for your game? What has he specifically done to improve you as a player?

Before I came in I had some good talks with him. It was all about getting into the positions to score and create chances. That's what we are doing and he helped me a lot. 

Where do you think your game is at just now? Do you feel like you are playing some of the best football of your career? Do you feel that you still have levels to go to?

I think there are still levels to go to. I think there is a lot more in me. I want to achieve what I am looking for.

Falkirk is on Sunday and they are lower-league opposition but they are 43 games unbeaten. How important is it that Celtic do not take them lightly and you show them respect?

I think you have to show respect for every opponent. We are going to focus on our strengths and if we keep going and doing what we have been doing then we have a good chance.

What do you put your good form this season down to? What has changed?

I knew if I was fit, I would play well. The team, coaches and staff have helped me a lot. I said a lot of times when I came in it was a little bit difficult for me. Now I am feeling good.

Do you feel like you are enjoying it more as you are settled in the team?

Of course, if it is going well then it's really nice. Now I am settled, it's good and I just feel well.

Going back to Wednesday night, did you speak to any of the players that have experienced the Champions League atmosphere before? Did you talk to them before the game about what to expect and what it was like?

Yes, everybody said it is amazing. They are special nights. I was really looking forward to it. Now I can say I played in the game here. I am really happy.

Did you have any family there?

Yes, a lot of friends were here. 

What did they think of it?

They thought it was amazing. I think they were crying. 

You have played in the Champions League qualifiers before and now you have experienced the real thing. You talk about the journey. Was that something you always wanted to do? Is that an ambition you had for a while?

Yes, the goal was always to play in the Champions League. When I was on a one-year loan from Bayern Munich I was in the Bundesliga II and I said then the goal was always to play in the Champions League and then one day, hopefully, the national team. It's going in the right way. 

Did you say that a while ago and what did people say to that?

I think it was 2021. That's just my goal. I don't care what other people say. It's what I believe I can achieve. That was my feeling, so I can say it. 

How much has the win against Slovan Bratislava given the team confidence for the rest of the Champions League? People are saying that there has been a reset at Celtic Park and the confidence is there. Do you feel that you can kick on?

Yes, it was just the first game. Of course, it was an important start for us. We are just focused on the next game and the games that are coming up we are going to give 100 per cent.
