Ryan McGinlay and Tony Haggerty joined Hamish Carton for The Celtic Way's morning briefing for April 1, sponsored by MPH Group.
On today's show, the trio spoke in detail about yesterday's game, in which Celtic ran out 3-0 winners against David Martindale's Livingston. They discussed some of the key players that were involved in the comfortable victory such as the returning Reo Hatate, Tomoki Iwata and Nicolas Kuhn. In the case of Iwata, they debated over whether or not he would start Sunday's game versus Rangers or not, and if Callum McGregor would come straight back into the team for the big clash at Ibrox.
The panel also mulled over the lack of intervention from the referees operating VAR, as a seemingly stonewall penalty on Kyogo Furuhashi was inexplicably not given by either Alan Muir or Don Robertson. Another contentious decision, which has left more questions than answers concerning officials and the technology aiding them.
