Daizen Maeda came to Celtic's rescue against Club Brugge on Wednesday (November 27), when the Japanese forward pulled his side level in the UEFA Champions League.

The match finished 1-1, and the technique the 27-year-old showed when cutting inside on the left flank to then fire the ball across opposing goalkeeper Simon Mignolet off the post and into the net was worthy of the occasion.

A few hours prior, though, the Celtic Under-19s side overcame the Club Brugge equivalent 1-0, with an in-form Daniel Cummings netting his side's only goal.

The strike rounded off a fine team move on the counter, and also marked Cummings' fifth European goal from five UEFA Youth League matches, underscoring the 18-year-old's fine vein of form.
