Celtic fan group The Green Brigade have issued a second call to arms for supporters heading to Hampden for this weekend's Scottish Cup Final 2024.

Earlier this week, the unofficial fan organisation announced plans to march from Glasgow Green to the national stadium.

Named 'Tims in the Park', the same event was promoted ahead of last year's Scottish Cup final between Celtic and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

As with last year's final, The Green Brigade is also calling for Celtic fans attending the game to wear the club's iconic green and white hoops in a show of solidarity among supporters.

Alongside the message "Wear the Hoops to Hampden. March leaves Glasgow Green at 12.30pm," the social media post – posted to the North Curve Celtic Twitter (X) account – features an image of Celtic fans in the Estadio Olimpico Sevilla ahead of the UEFA Cup Final 2003 against Porto.

The latter match took place 21 years ago today, on May 21, 2003, when Celtic valiantly lost 3-2 against Portuguese side Porto – then led by relative unheard of manager Jose Mourinho.

Celtic will of course look to secure a different result this coming Saturday when they take on Rangers in the ultimate stage of the Scottish Cup, an encounter that marks the fifth and final time the sides will meet in the 2023/24 campaign.
