Celtic will travel to Dublin tomorrow to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Aviva Stadium.

With the season edging closer to its commencement, Brendan Rodgers' side will face a step up in the quality of opposition, as they will be tested by the West Midlands side who finished 13th in the Premier League last season.

Wolves, headed by former Real Madrid, Sevilla and Spain national team manager Julen Lopetegui, will be Celtic's penultimate pre-season opponents, having faced Portimonense S.C, Yokohama F. Marinos and Gamba Osaka prior to this clash.

Following this game, the club will face Athletic Club at home on Tuesday - as part of James Forrest's testimonial celebrations - before the league begins next Saturday lunchtime on Flag Day against Ross County.

Rodgers has been busy so far in the transfer market, securing the signings of Odin Thiago Holm and Marco Tilio early on in the window following his arrival.

The club then confirmed the permanent signing of on-loan utility player Tomoki Iwata, before announcing the signings this week of South Korean duo Kwon Hyeok-kyu and Yang Hyun-jun from Busan IPark and Gangwon FC respectively.

This was followed by the official acquisition of Polish defender Maik Nawrocki from Legia Warsaw, which took the total figure of transfers coming into the club so far to six.

Even still, reports suggest that Celtic are remaining active in this summer's transfer market, with the club still being named as a potential suitor to Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic. The Dinamo Zagreb captain - who has 45 caps for his country - has been linked to a whole host of teams both in Europe and beyond, with Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce seemingly still the favourites to land the stopper if a move is agreed upon.

Current goalkeeper Joe Hart has been a mainstay in between the Celtic sticks following his move from Tottenham Hotspur in 2021. During his time at the club, he has contributed to two Scottish Premiership league titles, two League Cups and a Scottish Cup, in what has been a highly-successful period for the club under the now-departed Ange Postecoglou.
