World-renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano put the cat amongst the pigeons somewhat on Tuesday morning.
The journalist posted a tweet reporting that Celtic defender Carl Starfelt is being monitored by English Premier League clubs.
Starfelt, 27, is under contract at Parkhead until 2025 and has been a key player under Ange Postecoglou having played 20 times so far this season.
But Celtic's transfer resolve could be tested in the summer according to Romano, who reports interest from down south.
Romano's Tweet read: "Celtic central defender Carl Starfelt [is] one to watch in the summer as Premier League clubs are following him as [a] possible option for [the] next window.
"[The] Scottish club will try to keep him as he's considered an important player for Celtic."
In Tuesday's Celtic Briefing, Sean and Tony discuss the Starfelt report, his importance to the team and partnership with Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The guys also react to the Scottish Cup quarter-final draw that gave Celtic an away tie against Hearts the weekend of March 11.
Postecoglou has so far faced the Jambos at Tynecastle on three occasions - winning two and losing one.
Full details of the fixture date and kick-off time has yet to be announced but it cold be impacted by Scotland's Six Nations rugby union match against Ireland, which is slated to take place at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on Sunday March 12.
